Distributor to provide device trade-in website and fulfilment for customers of Currys, Dixons and PC World stores
20:20 Mobile and retailer Dixons have teamed up to offer customers the chance to trade-in their devices for gift cards to spend at Dixon Retail’s chain of Dixons, Currys and PC World stores.
The deal will see 20:20 provide an end-to-end solution including fulfillment services and a white-label website at curryspcworldtradeins.co.uk.
20:20 already supplies Dixons with accessories and devices, as well as airtime connections.
20:20 services director Jon Miller said: “We have some aggressive growth plans for this year and have already secured a number of contracts in our recycling and insurance areas.
“The launch of the Currys/PCWorld Trade-ins site underlines our ability to offer end-to-end solutions that are not only straightforward for our customers to implement, but that also offer great customer service, brand extension opportunities and added value.”
Dixons Retail project and operations manager Bob Gregitis said: “The new website and trade-in service makes complete sense within our total customer offer.
“It allows our customers to recycle unwanted devices and trade them in for an electrical item that they want and perhaps have to budget for.”
