Business technology specialist becomes operator’s first new UK service provider in over a decade
Bamboo Technology Group has struck a deal with Vodafone to improve its coverage in the UK and abroad.
The business technology specialist and independent service provider will integrate the mobile operator’s converged network, international roaming and associated services into it’s own offering to customers.
Bamboo becomes the first new Vodafone UK service provider in over a decade. It claims the agreement allows them to keep employees connected to their colleagues, customers business systems wherever they are working.
‘Significantly boost offering’
Managing director Lorrin White said: “In recent years, our focus has been on expanding and improving that supply chain to offer strength, choice and flexibility.
“Our partnership with Vodafone allows us to significantly boost our offering with the scale, innovation and efficiency of its trusted network and international voice and data services.”
Flexible working and an increase in cloud computing is influencing enterprises to access converged fixed and mobile networks that can scale in line with the demand they receive.
CCS Insight vice president of enterprise Nick McQuire said enterprise mobility services are ‘skyrocketing’, and according to its estimates, growing annually by 40 per cent.
Transformation
