BlackBerry’s first touchscreen device, the Z10, goes on sale from tomorrow on networks EE, O2, Vodafone and Three and at retailers Phones 4 U and Carphone Warehouse
The BlackBerry Z10 will be available to buy in the UK from the major networks, and retailers Phones 4 U and Carphone Warehouse, starting from January 31.
The announcement was made today by BlackBerry’s chief financial officer Thorsten Heins as the manufacturer unveiled its new operating system, BlackBerry 10.
The touchscreen handset will be on sale tomorrow on EE’s three brands 4GEE, Orange and T-Mobile and from retailer Phones 4 U. Carphone Warehouse, O2, Vodafone, Three and BT will also stock the device.
Heins said the cost of the device will range from carrier to carrier but said the recommended retail price in the US is $149.99 on a three-year contract.
The Z10 will go on sale in the United Arab Emirates on February 10.
BlackBerry also unveiled the Q10 at the event in Manhattan today, which is expected to come to the UK later in the year.
