Carphone opens pre-orders for HTC One x

Retailer announces April 5 availability of new flagship HTC handset

Carphone Warehouse has today (March 22) begun taking pre-orders for HTC’s new flagship smartphone the HTC One X.

The quad-core handset is available free on contracts starting at £36 per month, or SIM-free for £479.95.

It comes with a 4.7-inch screen and HTC’s new Sense 4 user interface, which includes updated photo-taking and music playback capabilities.

Customers who pre-order the HTC One X from Carphone will receive it on April 5, when it will also be available in Carphone Warehouse stores.
