Retailer to begin taking pre-orders of the Galaxy S4 from tomorrow, with every customer receiving a free accessory bundle
Carphone Warehouse will begin taking pre-orders of the Samsung Galaxy S4 from tomorrow (March 28), with the first 2,000 online pre-orders receiving a free Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) worth £149.99.
Every customer pre-ordering the smartphone, which goes on sale in the UK at all leading retailers and mobile operators from April 26, will also receive an accessory bundle comprising of an in-car charger, screen protector and case worth £64.97.
The Galaxy S4 was unveiled at a global press conference held in New York on March 14. It is the follow up to the Galaxy S III, which has so far sold more than 40 million units since launch last May.
Carphone Warehouse chief operating officer Graham Stapleton said: “The Samsung Galaxy S4 is big news for anyone who already uses or is interested in getting a smartphone. Everyone is talking about this handset and it smashed all the registration records we’ve held for Samsung devices.
“When the handset launches on April 26, we’re expecting our stores to be busier than at the height of the Christmas period, not least because we’ve got the widest range of networks available in the UK ensuring the best deals. We are planning to extend opening hours at our larger sites to cope with customer demand for the Samsung Galaxy S4.”
