The manufacturer’s new handset is expected to be unveiled at next month’s Mobile World Congress
Carphone Warehouse has launched a Samsung Galaxy rumours site allowing visitors to register for updates on the upcoming handset.
The site, which launched today (January 18), gives customers the option to sign up for emails containing news, pre-order and pricing details of the Korean manufacturer’s new device. It is heavily rumoured that the phone will be unveiled at next month’s Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona on February 22. Samsung had announced current flagships the S6 and S6 edge at last year’s MWC.
A Carphone Warehouse spokesperson said: “There’s been a huge amount of buzz around Samsung’s new Galaxy smartphone and we’re excited by the rumours we’ve already heard. Based on last year’s schedule, we’re preparing ourselves for the possibility the new device will be launched at Mobile World Congress this year.”
