The Huawei Y3 costs as little as £5 per month on Carphone’s iD network
Carphone Warehouse is now stocking the Huawei Y3, a device it claims to be the UK’s lowest priced smartphone.
It will be available on Carphone’s iD network for only £5 per month with no upfront cost. A 24-month contract comes with 250Mb of data, 150 minutes and 5,000 texts. The most expensive tariff costs £44.99 per month with unlimited minutes, unlimited texts and 10GB of 3G data.
The device runs on Android’s 4.4 KitKat, has a 4-inch screen and comes with a 5MP camera. It also has a 1.2GHZ quad-core processor, 1,730mAh battery, which has enough juice for 7 hours and 30 minutes of use, and 4GB of internal memory expandable up to 32GB with an external microSD card.
