The acquisition strengthens Daisy’s IT and telephony offering
Daisy Communications has acquired comms provider Communicate Better for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition of the Warrington-based firm is Daisy Communications third in the last 12 months after XLN Group and Premier Choice Telecom Ltd.
This takeover will help strengthen Daisy’s telephony portfolio, with Communicate Better boasting partnerships with heavyweight partners including Microsoft, Cisco and Mitel.
Communicate Better specialises in IT, mobile, telephony and telecoms and becomes part of Daisy’s offering.
“I am delighted with the acquisition of Communicate Better,” said Daisy Communications CEO Dave McGinn (pictured).
“This is a promising partnership to add to our flourishing portfolio, increasing our footprint in telephony products, enhancing our Microsoft relationship, and accruing telematic products.”
Meanwhile Communicate Better CEO Wayne Cartwright confirmed he’s walking away from the business following the acquisition.
“I’ve been at the helm of Communicate Better for over 12 years now and we’ve come a long way to make the company the success it is during this time,” said Cartwright.
“Now is the right time for me to step aside and hand the reigns over to Daisy Communications in the knowledge that the staff and customers are in trusted and capable hands.”
