Dixons office in Hemel Hempstead has now closed, with around 2,300 employees now located in new base
Dixons Carphone has opened a new head office in Acton, London, bringing together Currys PC World and Carphone Warehouse under one roof.
The new location will accommodate around 2,300 employees from both brands, following the £3.8 billion merger that was completed in August last year.
Dixons head office in Hemel Hempstead has now closed, following the move to Acton, the retailer confirmed to Mobile News.
Dixons Carphone celebrated the opening by inviting over 1,000 staff to a launch party, hosted by Dixons Carphone CEO Sebastian James, and included presentations by chairman Charles Dunstone and deputy chief executive Andrew Harrison.
The celebration including an official “cutting of the ribbon” which was performed by Dixons Carphone store manager Mandy Lotey.
The newly renovated office is located at a former BBC wardrobe store in Acton, West London.
