Former Brightstar UK sales director joins online retailer to drive its commercial strategy in the UK and US
Entertainment Magpie has appointed Jon Miller as its new managing director of electronics.
He will be responsible for driving the commercial strategy of the business’ electronics offering in both the UK and US.
Miller has more than two decades of telecoms industry experience, both in the UK and internationally across mobile operators, manufacturers and high street retailers.
For the past nine years he was sales director at Brightstar where headed up all UK services, including insurance, buy-back, trade-in, financial services, reverse logistics, repair and connectivity.
Entertainment Magpie, which trades as Music Magpie, was set up in 2007 and is headquartered in Stockport, Cheshire.
Its re-commerce website enables customers to be paid cash for posting unwanted gadgets such as mobile phones, tablets, e-readers, smartwatches, CDs, DVDs, video games consoles and a whole host of additional technology products.
Rapid growth
