IQ Business will go live next month and enable users to roam across multiple mobile networks
Fonehouse will launch IQ Business on July 1, its new B2B MVNO offering for companies with 5-15 employees.
It will run off Gamma’s enabler platform that combines all networks onto one SIM card so they can roam from one operator to the other.
IQ Business will be sold through its airtime partners EE, Vodafone and Plan.com, as well as its 200-plus B2B resellers and 50 high street retail stores. Pricing is yet to be confirmed.
The retailer will also offer businesses a handset leasing solution through an unnamed partner that it has been working with for the past two years.
“Safeguarding their future”
Fonehouse Business sales director Warren Taylor told Mobile News: “IQ Business is aimed at customers that absolutely require to be connected to voice, data or both at all times, and the ability to roam across multiple networks on the same SIM solves this.
“There are greater levels of interest in MVNOs from the channel because of uncertainty over acquisitions and mergers of networks. They aren’t sure where they will fit in the new order.
“By enabling our partners to connect on our MVNO, we are safeguarding their future because they know we are 100 per cent connected and committed to the channel.”
The launch of IQ Business follows the launch of its consumer MVNO IQ Mobile on May 13, which it claims is one of the first to go live with access to 4G, running off the EE network.
