Industry veteran concludes nine-month contract with accessories distributor
Genuine Solutions managing director Andy Tow has left the accessories distributor following the conclusion of a nine-month contract.
Tow (pictured), who has more than 30 years’ industry experience, completed his term last month on behalf of Sunnyside Business Consultants, which he co-founded in 2015.
He left the Surbiton-based accessories distributor having been appointed in December 2015, where he joined the senior management board alongside CEO Christian McBride and joint managing director Bav Majithia, who took a more strategic and sales-focused role.
Tow, who has held a number of senior roles over the past three decades, including MD of distributor Avenir Telecom from 2008-2014, previously spent a year at Vodafone Platinum Partner Excalibur Communications, first as chief commercial officer and then managing director.
Solid business base
“Genuine Solutions is an amazing business and is well set for great things to come in the months and years ahead,” he said. “I trust the legacy of building a solid business base will serve the company well in the future.”
Tow’s departure is the latest development to Genuine Solutions’ management team, which has seen the recent appointment of an HR director, supply chain director and head of IT, with plans to recruit a new head of marketing and further account managers.
