Trio of products to be sold at the department store chain as Gusto posts revenue of £1.3 million for September – its best ever monthly performance
Gusto Telecom Solutions has secured a deal for John Lewis to stock four of its products exclusively for the whole of Q4.
The department store chain will stock the All-Nighter, a pocket-sized battery pack compatible with all smartphones and tablets, as well as the iPhone 6 Juice Cube, a similar product for Apple’s latest smartphones, priced at £34.99.
Gusto is also launching extended USB charging and syncing cables for all Apple smartphones with a “Lightning” connector, from the iPhone 5 upwards. The Juice XL is two metres long and Juice XXL three metres long, costing £19.99 and £24.99 respectively.
All four products will be available from John Lewis’ 43 stores across the UK, as well as online via its website.
The Weekender, another pocket-sized battery pack compatible with all smartphones and tablets, will go on sale at both John Lewis and Three in-store and online, priced at £39.99. All deals go live later this month.
The Coventry-based accessories manufacturer has also signed a deal with New Zealand-based Millennium Corporation to supply its products to retailers in that country, as well as those in Fiji. Gusto will then have products on sale in 10 countries: UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Slovenia, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
The agreements come after Gusto experienced its best-ever trading month since it was established in August 2012, posting revenue of £1.3 million for September. This compares to its previous best of £1 million in August.
Gusto managing director Joe Bennett said: “I couldn’t be happier with the progress of the business. We continue to excel and over-achieve. We will drive on with getting new products and brands into a number of different countries throughout next year.”
