Device from Huawei’s online sub-brand had £70 knocked off its price during the two sales extravaganza days
Honor 8 sales topped 40,000 units over Black Friday and Cuber Monday combined via the manufacturer’s online store.
The smartphone from Huawei’s sub-brand was reduced by £70 to cost £299.90 – its lowest ever price – over the two discounted shopping days.
It is a direct follow up to its most successful selling handset to date the Honor 7, which had achieved more than eight million unit sales since July 2015.
Attractive prices
Honor said that as an “e-brand for young people”, it challenges traditional sales models by focusing on e-commerce and cutting out “old-fashioned” distribution networks.
As a result, it claims it can bring its “technologically advanced” products to market at an attractive price, while maintaining their quality and reliability.
