Handset comes with additional built-in memory and will be available in March

Honor claims it has responded to customer demand by launching a premium version of its Honor 7 handset range.

The Honor 7 Premium will go on sale in March and will see the Huawei sub-brand bump the built-in memory of June’s Honor 7 handset up from 16GB to 32GB.

The device was unveiled at Honor’s launch event in Munich, attended by Mobile News, and will be available in Gold and Mystery Grey.

Honor said: “Honor is dedicated to its fans and listens to their needs. They requested a premium version of the Honor 7 with more in-built memory and we delivered. The specifications for this fast, reliable and desirable phone remain unchanged with a blazing fast octa-core which takes gaming to the next level.

“On top of this, there’s a super-accurate fingerprint-sensor to protect your data, a 20 MP camera guaranteeing outstanding pictures and battery life that exceeds your day, even in busy times. Despite this, it also comes paired with a fast-charger which boosts battery life to 50 per cent in only 30 minutes.”

Honor also took wraps off some new hybrid earphones, the AM175, during the press conference in Munich.

The AM175 comes with inline controls to play music, to change volume or to answer incoming phone calls. The headphones are compatible with a range of Android phones and will go on sale in March. No RRP was given.
