Distributor rebrands today, giving it access to a host of services provided by the high street retailer
HSC has today been rebranded as Carphone Warehouse Business (CPWB), as first reported by Mobile News last month. It comes seven years after CPW acquired the distributor for £6 million.
The move gives HSC access to services such as an indirect variant of the Carphone Warehouse Network Price Promise, enhanced hardware portfolio and Geek Squad Walk Out Working.
HSC retains its offices and team in Poole and continues to offer services to dealers such as 21-day return to stock policy and free next day delivery.
The yourhsc.com website remains until 6pm today with the new partners.carphonewarehouse.com portal being switched on for June 6. There will be no online presence over the bank holiday weekend, so dealers have been asked to place all orders and access information they need online before today’s cut-off point.
Carphone Warehouse CEO Andrew Harrison said: “We know that the mobile phone is an essential of business life. That’s why we’re pleased to bring HSC and its partners under the Carphone Warehouse business brand.
“I want to give our indirect business more prominence in the Carphone Warehouse stable and improve the experience of thousands more business customers we can service through the indirect channel.
“We’re confident that with our heritage in providing independent advice to concumer and business customers, current HSC customers will be able to enjoy an even better, all round service.
“We want to lead the way in business and are making clear inroads to do so with the enabling of greater commercial and service advantages to current HSC partners as part of the new Carphone Warehouse Business brand.”
