Sales for January to September slumped to NT$55.91 but figure for last month rose 31.35 per cent year-on-year
HTC’s revenue for the first nine months of this year almost halved to NT$55.91 billion compared to the NT$95.53 billion figure posted for the same period last year.
This is according to unaudited financial results released this morning, which accounts for January to September.
Despite the drop in this nine month period, revenue for September was up 31.35 per cent to NT$9.33 billion.
It also increased month-on-month 31.35 per cent, with August yielding NT6.5 billion.
The results follow HTC unveiling the Desire 10 smartphone on September 20. Two iterations of the mid-range device were announced but the UK will only see the Desire 10 Lifestyle option. It’s currently retailing for £249.
