Successor to Extreme headset launched in 2010 offers HD voice, noise cancellation and spoken word information system

Headset maker Jabra has launched a Bluetooth headset called the Extreme2 which features new noise cancelling technology and an audio system for telling a user about the device’s status.

The HD Voice compatible Extreme2 is the successor to Jabbra’s Extreme handset launched in 2010.

Jabra claims that its new Noise Blackout 3.0 noise cancelling technology is the “most advanced noise cancellation to date”.

The Extreme2 also comes with a new “Voice Guidance” feature, which provides spoken set up guidance, caller identification and battery level information through the headset.

The Extreme2 costs £80, and comes with a cordless car charger that doubles as a holder for the device.

It provides 5.5 hours of talk time, and weighs 10.4 grams.
