Kondor has signed a deal to distribute products from US wearable and mobile accessories manufacturer MOTA in the UK and Ireland.
MOTA was founded in 2003 and is headquartered in California, with offices in Las Vegas, Shenzen and Hong Kong. Its products, which include smartwatches, smartglasses, smartrings, battery cases, power banks and wireless chargers, are sold at retailers including Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart.
Kondor offers a range of more than 9,000 products covering accessories for devices such as smartphones, tablets, MP3 players, iPods and cameras. Retail partners include Carphone Warehouse, EE, O2, Tesco, Dixons, Argos, Tesco and Sainsbury’s totalling 12,600 stores.
Managing director Rob Haycock (pictured) said: “MOTA’s products provide innovative solutions for the industry’s most-in-demand categories.
“People are excited about the upcoming MOTA SmartRing and MOTA Drone Hawk, and are actively seeking technologies to keep them on the go, as do MOTA’s battery cases for the iPhone 6 Plus. This is a great partnership that will elevate both companies to a new level.”
MOTA co-founder Kevin Faro added: “Our partnership means Kondor will supply the industry’s most advanced wearables and mobile accessories in quantity, with local support and fulfilment. This expansion of our sales channel with a major distributor marks an aggressive ramp-up of our international presence, with more to come.”
