Hove-based Lease Group will support the charity by raising mental health awareness throughout the year
Lease Group has announced mental health charity MIND as its official partner charity for 2021.
The technology and equipment funder began its partnership with MIND on January 12.
MIND supports people in the UK with mental health issues and was founded in 1946.
To support the charity, Lease Group will help to raise awareness throughout the year and will also invite its partners to contribute donations towards MIND.
There is a section on the Lease Group website dedicated to the initiative and also on its Partner Portal. This will be open to Lease Group’s 750 plus partners, made up of equipment and technology suppliers.
Commenting on the partnership Lease Group marketing Simon Fabb highlighted the significance of raising mental health awareness.
“Each year, one in four of us struggle with mental health and we’re doing our bit to raise awareness amongst the many businesses and people we interact with every day.
“As employers, we have a huge responsibility for the mental wellbeing of our team and by raising awareness and providing information with which our Partners and teams can benefit – we are winning if this helps just one person, particularly during this period of lockdown.
“For those who wish to support the cause further, we have built charity donations into our Rewards Programme, so contributions can be made if Partners feel like doing so.”
Later in the year on World Mental Health Day (October 20), Lease Group is planning an in-house charity event to raise further awareness.
