London-based dealer Swiftnet became 50th partner last month and Lease is aiming for 100 by year-end
Handset leasing provider Lease Telecoms says it’s now half way to achieving its target of signing up 100 resellers partners, less than a year since launching the programme.
The Hove-based leasing firm launched in September last year offering dealers access to an all-in-one platform that allows business to lease equipment, rather than buy it outright.
It was initially working with one reseller but numbers have now surpassed 50 as of last month. Lease Telecoms director Simon Fabb named London-based dealer Swiftnet as its 50th partner.
“Last month saw us enrol our 50th Partner, putting us well ahead of our 100 Partner target for the year,” said Fabb. “We wish to thank each and every partner for coming onboard and enjoying the benefits of leas- ing, it’s been great to work with so many forward thinkers.”
Lease Telecom launched the latest version of its partner platform in May along with a new rewards scheme that offers partners up to £250 for signing up businesses to lease agreements.
Fabb said version 3.0 of the portal, which went live on May 1, has played a key role in encouraging new dealers to sign up to the leasing service.
“It’s all about making the leasing process as quick and painless as possible, Partners need a solution that can keep up with the rate the market moves,” Fabb added. “The update to the portal has helped us reduce quoting and credit application time to minutes.
“Our training is important too. For some, this is the first time they’ve ever sold a finance option. We don’t just leave them to it.”
