Online retailer predicting sales of over £1 million each month in the quarter, with yearly increases of 21 per cent in November and December
Mobile Fun is expecting sales to top £3 million in Q4 as a result of new product releases and the continued launch of its international websites.
The online retailer’s forecasted sales for the current quarter indicate sales of over £1 million each month, with an increase on 2011 sales of 41 per cent in October, and predicted increases of 21 per cent in both November and December. It achieved its first million pound month in December 2011.
The company claimed that December 3 may be the busiest shopping day for most online retailers, but as it is shipping purchases up to 12pm on December 23, it anticipates a busy trading period throughout the entire month.
Mobile Fun, which currently trades in 50 countries, has a product range of 6,500 globally-sourced mobile accessories available for mobile phones and tablets.
Mobile Fun managing director Mohammed Hussain said: “Our continued launch of international websites has helped us achieve an increased turnover. Our teams across Europe are performing extremely well and we expect them to keep up their good work this festive period, ensuring each of our customers receives their purchases on time, no matter where they are.
“We are committed to our ‘Everything First’ promise, especially at this busy time, so are offering next day delivery in the UK on any items ordered by 5pm and are accepting orders until 7pm on December 22 for first class delivery of in-stock items before Christmas.”
