His new role involves overseeing Vodafone’s new regional business unit in the North West
Vodafone head of Partner Services Rob Mukherjee has taken up a new role overseeing its new regional business unit in the North West.
Mukherjee, who held the post for more than four years, became Vodafone head of North West Regional Business following the rollout of more localised units at the beginning of April.
His responsibilities overseeing VPS, which included the rebooting of the scheme which is set to roll out later this year, will be shared between VPS sector heads Jan Collins, Oliver Lofthouse and Kathryn Platt, who will report into partners and alliances director Nick Birtwhistle. Collins will oversee Vodafone’s partners in the North, Lofthouse in the South and Platt will look after the operator’s largest dealers.
A spokesperson for Vodafone confirmed the changes, saying: “To build on the success of the last five years of Vodafone UK’s partner programme and to bring continued focus to the enterprise indirect channel, Vodafone Partner Services is now being run by three of Vodafone Partner Services’ most experienced and senior managers.
“Rob Mukherjee, who has successfully run Vodafone Partner Services for more than four years, recently moved to a new role within Vodafone UK. Rob has been instrumental in defining and establishing the partner programme as a leading programme of its kind in the industry and has played a key role in its success to date.
“His work with Vodafone’s partners has resulted in ongoing growth in unified communications sales and he has driven the development of the programme to deliver a greater focus on converged communications, partner capability and customer service.”
