O2 has opened its 2018 graduate programme today (Nov 23) becoming the first UK company to offer a fully mobile native application process.
Applications can be made through the ‘Debut’ app available from the App Store and Play Store.
Graduates can apply for entry-level roles in six areas: finance, technology, data and analytics, relationship and vendor management, commercial strategy and digital.
Only the finance programme requires a 2:1 grade in any subject, whereas other roles just require a degree classification.
Roles will be based mainly in O2’s headquarters in Slough, some are based in other offices across the UK.
Last year O2 recruited 46 graduates on its programme, a figure O2 is looking to hit again next year.

O2 human resources director Ann Pickering said: “As a mobile first business, we understand the power of mobile to level the playing field and offer universal access to job discovery.
“We also know the extent to which young people rely on mobile for every aspect of their lives, and so have made it even easier for graduates to apply this year through Debut.
“By simplifying the application process and not using CVs during selection, we are removing the red tape and giving candidates the best opportunity to demonstrate their enthusiasm and passion for our industry.”
