The re-distributor of premium pre-owned technology is also opening up a new technology processing centre in the UK next month
PCS Wireless has completed the acquisition of Dutch company New ComServe Group as part of its next phase of European growth.
The acquisition of New ComServe Group’s assets sees the refurbished tech firm expand its portfolio services by adding repair, technology processing and refurbishment capabilities to its existing services.
It comes as PCS Wireless seeks to invest heavily in Europe, with the company set to open a new technology processing centre in the UK next month.
This acquisition will see New ComServe Group rebranded as PCS Services NL immediately.
The business will continue to serve its existing customers, plus provide support to PCS Wireless businesses and affiliates in Western Europe.
Aspirations
Commenting on the investment, PCS Wireless Europe regional president Fergal Donovan (pictured) said: “This is a further key investment for us. The capabilities and the highly experienced people that the New ComServe acquisition brings to PCS Wireless will be key to power our continued growth aspirations across Europe.”
PCS Wireless has also announced the appointment of Pieter Waasdorp to its PCS European leadership team as general manager for the new PCS Services business in the Netherlands.
“I am excited to join PCS Wireless at this important time,” said Waasdorp. “We are bringing all our services together in one new facility.
“We will consolidate, integrate, and start growing over the coming months. Key to our success are the people that work for us and our strong relationships with our customers.”
