The shop will feature products that have not gone on sale in the UK yet, such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Kids
Samsung is opening a pop-up store on London’s Portobello Road tomorrow (October 19), with products on show including its Galaxy Tab 3 Kids, which has not gone on sale in the UK yet.
The Samsung Galaxy Studio will close at the end of November and will also feature the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 phablet, Galaxy Gear smartwatch, and Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet (2014 edition).
Visitors will get hands-on time with the devices and create personalised content, such as badges and postcards, as well as receiving advice on how to use the key features of the devices.
Samsung is working with eight retailers on Portobello road to integrate devices into their business, including hair and nail salons and a cafe.
UK and Ireland vice president of IT and mobile divisions Simon Stanford said: “Our objective in opening the Samsung Galaxy Studio on Portobello Road was to highlight the everyday functionality of our new range of Galaxy devices and support local retailers in the area in integrating this new technology into their businesses.
“We believe that with this new pop-up space and our collaborations with Portobello Road-based retailers, we have created an engaging and immersive experience for our customers to experience our products and see how they can benefit them.”
