Flagship store on Regent Street sees shelves of new Rose Gold colour variant and 128GB models sell out in under one hour
Apple staff at its flagship store on Regent street confirm stock for the new Rose coloured device have sold out in under one hour, whilst all 128GB models of both have also being snapped up.
The Regent Street store opened its doors two hours earlier at 8am this morning to help manage the large crowds of people, some who had camped since Wednesday, to get their hands on the new devices.
Just one hour after the doors had opened, Apple staff confirmed to Mobile News the new Rose Gold colour variant (pictured) of both the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus had already sold out. This was a mix of pre-orders and those purchased on the day, they claimed.
The same news filtered through shortly after, with staff announcing all 128GB versions of the new iPhone 6s, (£699) and 6 Plus (£789) had also sold out in the Regent Street store.
No details on when the next batch of stock would arrive, with customers encouraged to check other Apple stores and retailers, such as O2, Vodafone, EE, Three, Carphone Warehouse and John Lewis.
