Three is aiming to have employees working at the new office by Q3 2021
Three UK has confirmed its two Thames Valley offices will be combined into one new central office later this year.
The move will see employees from the operators’ two offices in Maidenhead (pictured) and Reading combined in the same location for the first time
This means Three will depart from its Maidenhead HQ, where the operator has been based for the last 17 years at Star House.
The new 170,000 square foot central office in Reading will be located in the Green Park Business centre.
And this new office is currently under construction, with Three hopeful of being at the new complex by the third quarter of 2021.
Hybrid working
As part of the move, Three says colleagues will be “encourage and empowered to take a hybrid approach to office and home working”.
Commenting on the new central office Three UK CEO Robert Finnegan said: “Maidenhead has been our home for the last 17 years and we’re thankful for the support of the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Council during this time.
“But now it is time for a new chapter in Three’s history and we are really excited to be moving our central office into Green Park, Reading. We have looked hard to find a place that fits the type of organisation we are today, but also one that will suit us as we grow over the coming years.”
The new location has been chosen by Three due to its great transport links, state of the art meeting rooms, accessible parking and open spaces.
