The service is free for everyone, not just Vodafone customers
Vodafone has launched a new remote tech support service for its customers.
This means customers can now book a free 30-minute video or phone chat to overcome any technical queries.
The operator has launched the service for customers who prefer to stay home and avoid going to stores.
This service is available to everyone and not just Vodafone customers and can be booked via Vodafone’s store locator.
Vodafone will offer support on a range of issues including; software, app functionality, connectivity, technical queries or even full reboots.
There are also some tutorials and live demonstrations of devices available only through video chat.
Vodafone UK consumer director Max Taylor commented: “Since we re-opened our stores, we’ve seen customers come into stores to buy and collect their phones, but noticed they are keen to continue accessing our Tech Team’s services online.
“Up until now, we’ve been managing this through webchats, but now we are launching a new, personal service with our Tech Team experts from stores video calling people who need help.”
