Operator to boost payments by £30 from Thursday, bringing it in line with what O2 offers its dealers
Vodafone is increasing the connection bonus it offers dealers from £70 to £100 from August 1, dealers claim.
The move brings the operator into line with O2, which has offered resellers £100 per connection since January.
The increase was announced at a Vodafone dealer event in Newbury earlier this month, which was held to discuss changes to the operator’s revenue share plans.
At the seminar Vodafone apologised to dealers for making several changes to its revenue share plans recently at short notice.
Last year dealers were told the revenue share model would come into effect in October 2012, which has since been changed three times to December, July and now August 1.
Dealers claim the amount of revenue share paid will vary between silver, gold and platinum partners – ranging from around 35 per cent to 46 per cent.
