The service allows customers to make calls even when there is no available mobile signal
Vodafone’s WiFi Calling service is now available to customers with a Samsung Galaxy S6 or Samsung Galaxy S6 handset.
Customers can sign up for the service by texting CALLING to 97888. The service allows customers to make calls using an available WiFi connection, even when there is no mobile signal. Both Samsung handsets must have been bought directly from Vodafone.
The network’s WiFi calling service launched on September 11 and is only available to pay Monthly Red, Red Value Bundle, Red+ or Business Premier customers. In addition to Samsung Galaxy S6 owners, iPhone 6s and 6s Plus users can also take advantage of the service.
EE and Three also have similar services.
