Barclay Comms and Three scheme could unlock £18.5m savings for thousands of NI charities

Barclay Communications and Three Mobile UK have teamed up to support charities and social enterprises across Northern Ireland by offering cost-price mobile packages and direct financial donations.

 The average donation amount is expected to be around £2,600, with the potential to raise over £18.5million for local charities in Northern Ireland.

The programme enables Northern Ireland-based charities to switch their mobile contracts to Barclay Communications on the Three network, equivalent to an average donation of £2,600 per charity removing the profit margin ensuring the full value goes directly to the participating organisations.

Under the scheme, charities can retain their existing mobile packages or move to a new one on Three at cost price, The donation is made at the start of the contract,

There are more than 7,100 charities in Northern Ireland and 412,000 across the UK. f widely adopted, the scheme could raise in excess of £18.5 million for local charities say Barclays and Three.
