Retailer offers discounted Galaxy product bundles, with the £229 upfront price of the Galaxy S4 slashed altogether

Carphone Warehouse will have a ‘Cyber Monday’ flash sale on December 2, with discounts off Samsung handsets on contract and prepay.

The Galaxy Note 3 (pictured centre) and Galaxy Tab 3 (7-inch) Wi-Fi (pictured right) bundle will be free for £3 a month on Vodafone with unlimited minutes, texts and 1GB of data.

Customers will be able to have the Galaxy Y, Tab 3 (7-inch) Wi-Fi and Galaxy Camera together free for £16.99 a month on O2 with 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 250MB of data.

The Galaxy S4 (pictured left) will be free rather than £229 upfront on Vodafone for £25 a month with 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data.

The Galaxy S4 Mini and Galaxy Ace 3, which both cost £99 upfront, will be free. The S4 Mini will be available for £17 a month on O2 with either 300 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB of data or 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 250MB of data, whereas the Ace 3 will cost £13 a month with 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 100MB of data on Vodafone.

The retailers exclusive range of accessories designed by supermodel Kate Moss will also be half price. All offers will be extended to 11:59pm on Tuesday.

A Carphone Warehouse spokesperson said: “Tablets are going to be a big seller this Cyber Monday, particularly now that there are so many different devices available that cover a range of budgets. That’s why we’ve specifically tailored our device bundle deals to offer people looking for value for money the chance to get their hands on a tablet for the family without any extra cost.

“The UK market is beginning to catch on to Cyber Monday, traditionally a US trend, and the web is bustling with more offers and deals than ever before to entice customers in on this now crucial Christmas shopping day. Last year we saw a 22% increase in the number of UK customers logging on during ‘Cyber Monday’ compared to the average online retail traffic for the rest of the fortnight and it is likely that this year’s uplift will be even more significant.

“There’s also been a huge increase in the number of people using their smartphones for shopping. In fact, in recent weeks we’ve seen the number of orders placed through our mobile site increase by more than 200% compared to the same time last year. We’re expecting Cyber Monday this year will mirror this further and that more customers than ever will be doing their Christmas shopping on the move via smartphones and tablets
