Retailer receiving five times as many pre-orders than it did for the Galaxy S III
Phones 4U has has received five times as many first day pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S4 than it did for the Galaxy S III.
The retailer is offering all those pre-ordering the smartphone the chance to win the Galaxy Camera and Galaxy Note 10.1, worth a combined £800, each day until April 25.
Customers pre-ordering the smartphone on 4GEE tariffs will receive a Google Play voucher. Those opting for it on contracts from £46 a month and above will receive a £100 voucher; those picking £41 a month contracts will receive a £50 voucher; and contracts at £36 a month will receive a £25 voucher. All pre-orders will also receive an accessory bundle worth £85.
The Galaxy S4 is available to pre-order free from £41 a month on contract and £49 upfront on £36 a month deals on a range of networks from today.
Phones 4U chief commercial officer Scott Hooton said: “The demand for the Samsung Galaxy S4 has been truly phenomenal at pre-order stage. In the first six hours alone, pre-orders placed both online and in-store are fives time that of the Samsung Galaxy S III over the same time period, and we’re gearing up for an exceptionally busy launch day on 26th April when it officially goes on-sale at Phones 4u stores across the country and online.”
