Samsung co-CEO Han Jong-Hee death leaves semi-conductor chief alone in top role.

Samsung Electronics Co-Chief Executive Officer Han Jong-Hee has died at the age of 63 due to a heart attack while receiving hospital treatment, the company has announced.

This leaves Jun Young-Hyun, the semiconductor chief executive who was appointed co-CEO just last week, as the sole CEO of Samsung Electronics.

Han,was instrumental in elevating Samsung’s television business to global prominence establishing Samsung as the world’s leading TV manufacturer. In 2022, he was appointed co-vice chairman and CEO, overseeing the consumer electronics and mobile devices divisions.,

He is survived by his wife and three children. T
