TMT First founder Adam Whitehouse’s campaign to get a national apprenticeship scheme set up has succeeded with the official launch of The Digital Device Repair Technician Apprenticeship. The scheme, which will now be rolled out nationally over the coming months, has been created in partnership with the Institute for Apprenticeships Tech Education (IfATE). It follows

The scheme is being handled through Euan Blair’s  skills training organisation

Apprentices will work towards gaining a City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in ICT Systems and Principles

New apprenticeship scheme launched with successful candidates starting in September

The company has already employed over 900 graduates in the past 12 months

The Korean manufacturer also launched the G8 ThinQ which is not a 5G phone

23 of the new apprentices will be based in Slough head office, with the remaining 10 trained as Guru’s in stores across the country

Apprentices who complete telecoms and sales programme to be offered permanent positions
