Latest smartphones from technology giant now available from all major mobile retailers and operators
The Apple iPhone 7 and 7 Plus has gone on sale in the UK today across all major retailers, operators and MVNOs.
They are available from the likes of Carphone Warehouse, EE, BT Mobile, O2, Vodafone, Three and GiffGaff.
The latest devices in the manufacturer’s smartphone range were unveiled on September 7 in San Francisco and were made available for pre-order two days later, along with pricing.
In addition to the UK, the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus are today available from a further 29 countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, UAE, US Virgin Islands and the US
Earlier this week, Carphone claimed demand for the iPhone 7 was outstripping the 6s by a “record” 200 per cent.
However, the usual fanfare for iPhone launches was lacking at Apple’s Covent Garden store yesterday morning – less than 24 hours before the devices were due to go on sale.
Mobile News was back at the shop early this morning to see if this had improved and to talk to those queueing up – some of which had camped overnight to be among the first to buy the new iPhone.
