Tablet/laptop hybrid available in 13 Currys stores, costing from £749.99
Huawei’s newest tablet, the MateBook, has gone on sale in selected Currys stores across the UK for the first time.
The two-in-one MateBook packs a 12-inch screen and can serve as both a laptop and tablet. It comes in two versions: the m3 version, which is powered by an Intel M3 processor, and the M5, which runs on a more powerful M5 processor.
The former packs 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal memory, while the latter has 8GB, with 256GB of SSD storage.
Both sport a 5MP camera on the front, weighing in at 640g, and powered by 4430mAh battery, which is charged by a USB type-C port. Huawei has included a USB-C to micro USB cable in the box.
Huawei consumer UK sales director Rhys Saunders said: “With the power to glide through any task put in its path, and the aesthetics and build quality to impress in and out of the boardroom, the Huawei MateBook truly is made for a new style of business.
“It is the device of today for the professional of today, and we are excited to announce it is on sale in the UK.”
The Huawei MateBook is available in the UK in Gold from Curry’s Stratford, Oxford Street, Aberdeen 2in1-HS, Cardiff, Canary Wharf, Manchester Arndale, Bluewater, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Bath, Brighton, Manchester Trafford, Edinburgh Princes Street, Tottenham Court Road for £749RRP for Matebook M3 and £999.99 for Matebook M5.
