Essex-based IT asset disposal company, Reuse Technology Group, has appointed Emeka Nwadike as CEO to lead its expansion into the mobile sector.

He joins Reuse from Mazuma having previously worked at Twig following its acquisition of Mobi Market, the secondary market reseller he co-founded.

At Reuse, Nwadike will focus on expanding the company’s involvement in mobile technology.

Founded in 2008 and based in Rainham, Essex, Reuse provides services including WEEE-compliant recycling, data erasure, and IT lifecycle support from deployment and logistics to buy-back and resale. The company is known for refurbishing Cisco networking equipment.

Reuse Technology specialises in recycling networking equipment and switches

Reuse hasn’t traditionally focused much on mobiles, laptops, and tablets—their main strength is in networking equipment,” Nwadike told Mobile News.

I’ll be helping them grow the mobile side, explore cross-pollination opportunities, bring in more structure, and really drive growth, just as we did at Mobi Market. The foundations are already there with their accreditations, track record, and established business. It’s now about building from there.”

Founder of Reuse Technology Group founder Darrel Arjoon,  added:
“Emeka’s track record in sustainability and reuse initiatives has made him a respected figure in the sector.

“His leadership will be key to advancing our strategic goals and strengthening our position as a leader in sustainable e-waste solutions. He’s already making waves in the reuse and resource management space, and from the moment we saw his work, we knew he was the right person to help evolve how we manage waste. His forward-thinking approach is exactly what we need for what will be a transformative year”.

Added Nwdike “I’ve known Darrel for a long time. We did a few, few deals on on things, and we’ve kept in touch. He had some some ideas that he thought might be interesting told me a bit about what he’s looking to do, which were quite interesting”.

Emeka Nwdike will be a speaker at the Mobile News Circular Summit secondary market conference on October 22 in London. Register here to attend.
