
A new business communications provider, O2 Daisy, has launched following the merger of Virgin Media O2 Business and Daisy Group.
The combined entity starts life with annual revenues of approximately £1.4 billion and a customer base comprising hundreds of thousands of SMEs, large corporates, public sector bodies, and channel partners.
O2 Daisy brings together Virgin Media O2’s mobile and fixed networks with Daisy’s specialist B2B platforms and product portfolio. It is majority-owned by Virgin Media O2 (70 per cent), with the remaining 30 per cent stake held by Daisy founder Matthew Riley, who will serve as Chairman.
Jo Bertram, formerly Managing Director of Virgin Media O2 Business, has been appointed CEO and said: “By bringing together two experienced teams and supercharging them with scaled networks, agile systems and comprehensive products, we’re ready to deliver exceptional outcomes for our customers.”

Matthew Riley, Chairman of O2 Daisy, added: “O2 Daisy will revolutionise the telecoms and IT landscape, creating connectivity offerings fit for UK businesses of all sizes and underpinning their growth.”

O2 Daisy positions itself as the UK’s second-largest B2B telecoms provider for small and medium-sized businesses. It aims to “make every business better” by offering a fully integrated suite of connectivity and managed IT services for companies of all sizes, including public sector organisations.
The company will operate as one team across sites in Manchester, London, Sheffield, Nelson, Reading, and Bournemouth.

Customers will benefit from access to Virgin Media O2’s network infrastructure, combined with Daisy’s managed services and support. Product offerings include 5G private networks, WiFi and data solutions, cloud services, Teams Phone Mobile, cybersecurity tools, modern workplace technology, and O2 Motion movement insights. Further product innovations are expected in the coming months
During the integration phase, the company will continue to serve customers under the Virgin Media O2 Business and Daisy brands, with a full brand transition expected in due course.
