Vodafone has launched a same-day phone repair service called Fix & Go, at five UK stores.
The service is available to all mobile users regardless of network or warranty status and repairs for popular handset brands including Samsung, Apple, and Google, with many common fixes such as screen, battery, camera lens, and charging port replacements completed within two hours. Prices start at £39 for a charging port replacement, £49 for battery or camera lens repairs, and up to £119 for screen replacement.
Fix & Go is initially available at Vodafone stores in London (White City, Stratford, Oxford Street), Edinburgh (Princes Street), and Cardiff (St David’s Centre). The rollout will expand to 18 stores across the UK later this year.
Repairs are carried out by Vodafone-trained specialists in partnership with Fonehouse, with replacement parts covered by a new Vodafone warranty.
This move marks Vodafone’s shift towards using its retail stores as service hubs, expanding beyond traditional handset and accessory sales. It aims to address common consumer concerns around repair time and costs, which research indicates as key barriers to device repair.
